Think OIO®
The union of two elements, the fusion of softness and solidity, the coexistence of style and recycled material, these were the objectives of our head designer Marco Grossi during the research for the creation of the Think OIO® construction.
Luca Grossi®‘s team of designers tried to revolutionize the construction of the sole by combining two materials that are imaginatively opposed to each other.
The name Think OIO® is intended to represent the ingenuity used to find a solution that could make EVA (ethyl vinyl acetate) and regenerated leather coexist in the same sole.
The use of EVA in the soles makes the shoes light, non-slip and guarantees the right comfort while walking.
It was very important for our designers to include a component that looked at the environment in this new construction and after countless searches the choice fell on regenerated leather.
Of the leathers that enter the tannery only about 30% by weight is transformed into a finished product. The remaining part is managed as waste.
Here then regenerated leather becomes very interesting if considered as an alternative to landfill and as a material capable of enhancing parts of the shoe such as the sole.
With this process, a whole line of models has been created that aim for greater comfort suitable for the working and traveling woman.
We have also started the regular process for the registration of the Think OIO® trademark in various parts of the world other than Italy, in order to safeguard this personal type of processing and give the footwear an immediate identity and recognizability with this trademark.
Our Think OIO® trademark is applied by fire on all the soles of this type of processing.
These new processes have always been carried out maintaining the characteristic of the made in Italy of our product that has always distinguished us and combining it with new materials of which careful research has been done always with the aim of originality, quality and comfort that are present in all our products by adding new colors and combinations to always keep up with the trend of the moment.
